The free plan has the editor, the AI Author, saving, sharing, and exporting. All of it.
We cap volume, not features. Pay when 25 documents stops being enough.
Questions worth asking.
What counts as a document on the free plan?
Anything you save with a title. A memo, a paste from Claude, an imported .docx. We don't count versions, drafts, or the things you delete. 25 live documents at a time. The 26th is when Pro starts paying off.
Is there an annual discount?
Yes, a small one. Pay $3 a month, or $30 a year (saves $6). Monthly is monthly. On or off whenever you like. We'd rather you cancel for a month and come back than feel locked into an annual you stopped using in April.
Is the AI included, or do I bring my own?
Both. The AI Author is included on every plan. Paste a prompt, get a diff back. We're vendor-agnostic about which model wrote your draft, so pasting from ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or Copilot lands the same way.
What happens when I hit 25 documents on Free?
Nothing dramatic. You can still read, edit, and export the 25. To save a 26th, you upgrade or you delete one. We won't quietly lock the older ones.
Can I cancel? Will I lose my docs?
Cancel anytime. Pro drops back to Free at the end of the current month. Your docs stay. If you're over the 25-doc cap, they go read-only until you delete down or come back. We never delete your writing.
How does per-seat billing work for teams?
$3 per seat per month, minimum three seats. Add or remove seats anytime; we prorate the difference inside the month. Pay by card or invoice. SSO ships with Teams (when shipped); we don't park it behind an "enterprise sales" wall.
